Rodney McCrum, Francis Fitzpatrick, and a small group of local farmers decided the time was right to develop a line of fresh-cut potato products that would meet the growing demand for fresh, prepared produce. They teamed up with one of the world’s leading food processing engineering and design companies to develop proprietary production technology. McCrum’s original building, in Mars Hill, was converted into the country’s most up-to-date, ecologically sensitive processing facility.
