Arrowsic Island Pottery produces dinnerware, serving dishes, vases, pitchers, oil lamps, ikebana vases, wine coolers, table lamps, marker boards, wall pockets, etc., and a many of one-of-a-kind sculptural pieces. We work with a variety of clays, a white stoneware for functional work, paperclay and earthenware for sculptural work. All of our functional work is thrown and altered, decorated with beautiful high-gloss glazes, especially Tenmokus and rutiles, and fired to cone 10 reduction. All of our functional pieces are food safe, dishwasher safe, microwaveable and oven proof. Our sculptural pieces are handbuilt, decorated with low-fire underglazes, overglazes,and lustres and fired to cone 06-04 oxidation.
